Terms of participation
Who we are
Doodle Gone Real (doodlegonereal.com) is run by Christian Grieger, Zur Melmke 6, 59846 Sundern, hello@doodlegonereal.com. These terms apply to drawings sent in through our website and to the use of our website and channels.
Sending in a drawing
- Taking part is free. You do not need an account.
- You may only send in drawings that you made yourself, that your child made, or that you have the right to send in.
- For anyone under 16, a parent or guardian sends the drawing in and accepts these terms. Please do not include a child’s full name or photo.
- Drawings must not show real people or recognisable faces, known characters, brands or logos, and nothing violent, hateful or for adults only.
Selection
We pick our favourites by hand. There is no right to be selected or published, and we do not have to give reasons. Submissions that we do not select are deleted automatically after 90 days; we let you know by email.
What we do with a selected drawing
If we select your drawing, we use artificial intelligence to create a real-looking photo and a short clip from it. The results are labelled as AI-generated and can look quite different from the drawing. We publish the drawing, the photo and the clip on doodlegonereal.com and on our channels (TikTok, Instagram, Threads, YouTube, Pinterest, Facebook, Bluesky and X), with your credit if you asked for it.
Rights
The drawing remains your work. By sending it in, you give us the free, non-exclusive right to edit it, to create AI-generated photos and clips from it and to publish the drawing and the results on our website and channels, including in the formats these platforms require. This right ends when you delete your submission; we then remove published posts as far as this is in our control.
Deleting your submission
You can delete your drawing and your data at any time with your personal link, on “My drawings” or by email. Details are in our privacy policy.
Liability
We are liable without limitation for intent and gross negligence and for injury to life, body or health. Otherwise, we are only liable for breaches of essential obligations, limited to the typical, foreseeable damage. We cannot guarantee that the website and channels are always available.
Changes and applicable law
We may update these terms for the future; the version in force when you send in a drawing applies to it. German law applies. If you are a consumer, the mandatory consumer protection rules of the country where you live remain unaffected.
